After our days in Cali we drove up to the coffee area where we had rented a place in Calarcá. We met up with Diana, her daughter Margarita, her boyfriend Gustavo and her mom Doña Carmen. We had some great days exploring the area.

We had a great dinner at a restaurant with typical foods to start off the days together:
Seafood platter, yummy
The next day, after a good breakfast, we went to the Cocora Valley to see the amazing wax palms, Colombia's national tree:

We decided to go to Filandia the next day, but sadly it rained the whole time, so we walked around whenever it rained just a bit, and then we had lunch with Teresa and her two friends visiting from Australia:

Last day we drove up to some hot springs near Manizales. It rained for a couple of hours when we first got there, but later we could enjoy the hot water, not bad at all:
Hygge time
After some great days we leaved for Medellín by ourselves. Thanks for these amazing days together!
