Easter Holiday - Part 2

When my parents went back to DK I decided to go to Colombia for 2 weeks. It was great to be back to the country with buñuelos, arepas and great fruit juices.
Gustavo picked me up in the airport 6.40 in the morning, pretty tired after a long trip and very little sleep (I had only slept a little on the plane, since my plane left from Mexico City 2.15 in the morning). We spent some days in Bogotá, relaxing, and then we went to spent some time in Choachí where we visited some hot springs, great! On the way to the hot springs we had this great view, and some dogs who followed us all the way to the springs:

Back in Bogotá I met Marcela and spent some time with her and her family, great as always.
Some days before leaving to go back to Mexico Gustavo and I went to Villeta, another village close to Bogotá to enjoy some time away from cold and polluted Bogotá. Beautiful sorrounding, river and great weather:

Back in Bogotá:

It was great to be away from school for some time, see Gustavo again and enjoy Colombia, but verything has an end, back to school and a tough month with final proyects and lots of homework. But I'll keep dreaming of the great vacation I had :)

Easter holiday - part 1

It's been a long time with vacation and I have enjoyed it fully. The first week of my vacation my parents and sister came to visit me here in Mexico. We met up in Mexico city and spent a couple of days there. The first day we went to see Frida Kahlo's house, la casa azul, and later to the anthropoligical museum, amazing:

Beautiful area where the house was as well:

Next day we went to Teotihuacán a little outside from Mexico city. Amazing place with beautiful pyramides, but very hot!

 Piramide del sol

 Very nice view!

Great family pose ;)

you can get a little tired from all that walking around and discovering this place.

Last day we went to see what there was in the area around el Zócalo, more ruins:

The old man and his favorite toy - Iphone can both be used as phone and camera ;)

After these couple of days in Mexico city we drove to Guanajuato so my family could see where I live, go to school and in general what there is to see in Guanajuato. Here some pictures from the view from el Pípila:

A quick trip to Dolores, they had to try the wierd ice cream they are famous for there, and to San Miguel with it's beautiful houses:

On the way to the airport we passed by Querétaro for lunch and Bernal. It was great, but on the way to the airport we got lost in Mexico City, it was a little critical with time, but in the end we found the airport with help from a very nice guy, and they got on their flight as planned.
