I arrived in Bogotá Friday morning after a really long trip including a weird swedish guy, very little space for our legs on the 12 hour flight across the atlantic, spending a lot of time with a cool chilenian guy, Clemente, who had been illegally in Spain for 4 years, and last but not least I met a danish guy, Mikkel, who was going to Colombia by himself, but he had no idea what actually waited him and he didn't speak any spanish. I actually got a little concerned about him and it didn't really help that his backpack didn't arrive and that he didn't have any cash. So Marcela and I helped him out a little bit, and I really hope he will be okay.
It was so amazing to see Marcela again. She waited for me in the airport, she looked just like herself and she is still as crazy as always. Lovely ! She had to work both Friday and Saturday, but that was okay, especially Friday, because I was SO tired. This trip really hit me hard and it has been really hard to change my rythm. It's like I'm tired all the time.
Saturday night we went out dancing. I had totally forgot how fun that is around here. But i could also feel in my legs especially that I'm not used to several hours of dancing without stop.
Sunday the whole family was gathered for lunch. That included dancing, a lot of laughing where i felt a little stupid when they told all these jokes that I didn't understand. And jokes kind of die when you translate and explain too much you know. Gustavo came to Bogotá and I'm really looking forward to seeing him, let's hope that'll happen one of these days.
We tried to make Æbleskiver but for some reason it totally failed and in my opinion it tasted more like unbaked bread than anything else. But they liked it, so that was lucky.
I don't really know what the plans are, but I think I'll leave Bogotá soon, because Marcela is working a lot and I don't really like this huge and chaotic city. We'll see what happens.
