Bye Lago Agrio and hello Coca

It has been lots of relax in Lago Agrio with some work in between. It was extremely hot most days (when it didn´t rain), so it was great to take a siesta:

We are now in El Coca, it is extremely hot here, but it is nice to hang around by the river, especially in the afternoon:

Next step is to go by river next week to the boarder with Peru, and from there we are going to the peruvian part of the amazonas :D

Life in Lago Agrio

What´s been going on?

Well, we rented an apartment around 3 weeks ago here in Lago Agrio and we have been hanging out here, working and just relaxing.
We have been eating delicious food here, cannot complain:

The family that owns the apartment where we are living, they live there next to us and make food in enormous portions and sell it in the street. We have been helping them a little from time to time, and I am now and expert degraining corn :p

The good life

Our roomie, Davis, found a tiny cat in the street the other night, and he brought it home, it had not even open the eyes yet. We took care of it for just one day and we realised that the cat of the house had just had her babies. She is so cool, she even adopted our little grey cat, it looks like the ugly duckling :p
