Sightseeing in Denmark

The other day, an older lady in Espergærde asked me in English "Do you live here?", she apparently thought I was from somewhere else. This weekend we went around Denmark and I really got to fully live my turist expirience here.

First stop, Svendborg on Fyn, maritime city, and of course we had to visit Børsen and the restaurant's iconic part that is inspired in the old danish movie "SS Martha".

The atmosphere in Svendborg was very nice, and we were lucky that it was warm and the sun was out all day, so what more could we ask for?

After lunch in Svendborg we went to the island Tåsinge, where we visited the small town Troense. This is a small town with many old danish houses, and we got a feeling of the old danish atmosphere here. It was great! I could live here :p

A break for the old man

I was practicing my modelling skills too, haha

House for sale, maybe my next home?

We stayed the night at my dad's cousin's house in Assens, and waiting for her to come home we explored a little of Assens.

Diana's crazy face

Sunday was a day for eating. We started off with a traditional Brunsviger from Fyn - delicious!

We drove to Århus to meet my uncle, Jakob, and we had a great lunch with typical danish food. That is something they know to make in Jutland, that is for sure!!

Food - Ready - Attack

I had an amazing Rødspætte fish with potatos and "persillesovs" - mmmm

Not because I was hungy after that fish, but Jakob insisted we should try the traditional Town Hall pancakes - and they were well worth it, they were so delicious !!
