Short visit in Bolivia and now we are in the north of Argentina

Lots have been going on, but very bad internet connecting has made it a bit difficault to upload pictures.
We had a quick stop in La Paz, very hectic city, and we decided to leave just the day after we came there. We met an argentinan girl, Juli, and a spanish/chilenan girl, Claudia, on the way to La Paz and enjoyed the couple of days we had witht them

"Trash kills, it is forbidden to throw trash. Fine of 200-1000 bs (100-500 dkk)". This is just too funny!!!!

Potosi was a little better, and we even spent some great time with Claudia there (Juli had gone back to Argentina)

Having a beer with Claudia the night before she left from Potosi.

We only spent 2 weeks in Bolivia though. I did not like it at all. It was way too cold, we did not find any nice places to stay, unfortunately, and I felt very discriminated there. People were very rude in general, they would ignore us if we entered a store to buy something and one time at the marked they simply did not want to sell anything to us. On top of that it was extremely difficault to find anything for me to eat since everything had meat, I am quite tired of bread with tomate and cheese by now :p. So it was quite a relaf when we crossed the boarder and entered Argentina.

First stop in Argentina was Humahuaca. Quiet and small little village in the provincia of Jujuy. It has amazing nature and  we enjoyed a couple of days there

The view from the house where we were staying

These are some of the colors from the mountains in the area

Multicolored mountains - crazy and very beautiful

Independence monument in Humahuaca

It is very hard to work around here :p

Next stop - Tilcara, another small village in the provincia of Jujuy. Amazingly beautiful as well

great homemade pizza

A quick stop in Purmamarca to a see the 7 colored mountain...

...but it was extremely hard to take good pictures of it, plus it was way too touristy for our taste, so we left for San Salvador de Jujuy. In San Salvador I spent my 24th birthday, lots of empanadas and cake, though a bit strange to celebrate my birthday in warm weather ;)

Empanadas with cheese

Yummi

Last but not least we have spent some time in Salta, working and relaxing. Great.

Our hosts in Salta, the small Almendra was one big love. Cachetes :D

Argentinan asado

We made this guy's rastas ann he seemed to be very happy about them. My hands were not that happy afterwards though, almost 7 hours working.

We are going south towards Buenos Aires, on Saturday we are going on a long trainride, but we are looking forward to it.
