Pitalito, San Agustin & Gustavo

I met this amazing guy, Gustavo, in the semaphore in Popayán and we have been spending a lot of time together. He is a street juggler and works in the semaphore. Last Monday we went to Pitalito, a little town in the state Huila. The busride was the worst I have every expirienced, it was crazy bumpy and it was some very long 6 hours. But we arrived in almost one piece and went to his grandma's house where we stayed the next 2 days. We went to the center hanging out in the parks there, drinking a beer and playing cards.
Then we went to San Agustin which is also a small city in Huila. It is really beautiful, and we found a place to sleep in the mountain for just 7 kroner every night, and we could use the kitchen and everything. It was primitive though, but I love it.
We went to see a waterfall, walked for hours with a lot of food that people on the marked had been given us for free. It included something like 2 kg of potatoes, a lot of tomatoes, beans, onions and pees. We came to a house in the middle of nowhere, and we kind of gave up on the idea about getting to the waterfall to cook, because it was still far away, so instead the very nice lady had us use her kitchen. That is something that only happens in Lokumbia.
We spent the nights listening to music and looking at the stars. It was amazing. But also really hard to say goodbye when I had to go back to Diana and her family.

Gustavo's room in Popayan.

The wall in his room.

Beautiful San Agustin

This is the house I some day want :p

The incredible view from a cabaña close to our place.

The kitchen we had in the house.

Making agua panela.

Looking for the waterfall.

Now I left Popayán and Diana and her family. It was tough, but I have the feeling that I'm comming back here soon. Now I'm in Medellin with Juliana and on my way out to explore the city. Over and out.
